About Us

Tonya's House is a non-profit organization established on January 16, 1996, with a mission to assist runaway, homeless and at-risk youth in rural Eastern Oregon.

We established a program in our community where girls may seek the support of an adult mentor or reside at the house as they gain self-sufficiency and transition onto their own.  We support girls ages 13 up to 18 as they work on an educational program, attend counseling, re-unite with their families or gain employment and life skills.

Overview

Tonya’s House housing is a state-licensed facility that can provide emergency, respite housing to female youth residents ages 13 up to 18 at Tonya's House. A girl resides in the housing program as she works to complete her goals in education, counseling, employment and life skills. We provide emergency respite housing to assist youth and families with reunification.

Tonya’s House is a non-profit 501 c 3 organization. Tonya’s House services are supported by Greater Oregon Behavioral Health Inc., community donations, Umatilla Morrow United Way, CAPECO, Wildhourse Fountaion, Juan Young Trust, church clubs, business service clubs, individuals and annual fundraisers. We have received special grants from the Wildhorse Foundation and the Pendleton Foundation Trust.

Your donations are tax-deductible and assist us with making a difference in the lives of the youth we serve. Volunteers assist Tonya’s House with governing the policies and procedures of the programs, maintenance of the house and annual fundraisers.
